Pure Acceleration was established in Tampa, Florida, in 2005 and has gained a reputation of knowledgeable and efficient customer service while at the same time remaining a warm and friendly place to do business.
You're not just a customer at Pure Acceleration you become part of the PA family.

Pure Acceleration strives to not only provide low prices but also provides a one of a kind open bay with all of the tools customers would need to install products purchased at the shop, at no extra charge. This helps keep the cost of maintaining or upgrading your powersports equipment down while also learning about your equipment. We firmly believe that working on your own bike helps you understand how it works and that in turn makes better riders.

The owners, Michael and Melanie, along with their partners Geoff and Kristen, took over the company in June of 2008 and have grand visions for the future of the company.
All four have an expansive background in powersports including all aspects of street riding, track riding, dirt riding, water sports, and even fun in the snow!

• Mike started riding dirt bikes at the age of 10 and has been on 2 wheels ever since. Now over 20 years later he is not only still riding daily, but is now a sponsored racer on the CCS circuit. While he may not be one of the top ranked racers he enjoys everything about the sport and tries to get in as many races per year as possible, while still enjoying the perks of everyday street riding.

• Melanie has been riding since she was a teenager and for the first few years she was on the road, she used her motorcycle as her only form of transportation while living in South Florida.
  She also serves as Mike’s pit crew at CCS races and other track day functions.

• Geoff is an avid motorcycle enthusiast who got his first mini bike when he was seven years old. He has always wanted to be involved in the motorcycle industry and is finally able to do so!

• Kristen is the newest to the motorcycle family, having only been riding since 2000. However, in that time, she has developed a love of the sport and everything that goes with it.

All four partners also enjoy boating and dirt riding when they can find the time.

On December 1st 2009 we took our first big step in the growth of Pure acceleration when moved in to our new location. This move makes us more visible (no longer are we tucked back off a hard to find side street). The show room is larger then before and the work bay is at least 3 times the size of the old shop.
